Parkdale has been critically deficient in waterfront access for years.
Jameson bridge provides the only pedestrian access to the lake for 2.3 km! (compare with 17 access points to the eastern beaches in the same distance)
The city provided ten days notice for a four month closure during the peak summer season. (Now reduced to two months)
